We're so busy living our lives that we can easily begin to race past those things that bring joy and peace to our hearts in the name of achievement.
On this traditional day of rest, let's us have the opportunity to rest our busy selves and run ragged our neglected selves. Please seek the joy of fingers entwined with another's, the scent of the clean morning air, the words to a new song, and a gorgeous sunset that eludes us so often. And of course, kind thoughts and wishes for those near and dear.

Good morning my relaxing DU family,
As Cuddles comes in and gives his daily thanks for my love by collapsing himself around my hand and giving in to the pure joy of being loved, caressed and doted on, it reminds me to give myself fully to him now and to the moment at hand throughout the day.
Please give us a day where the joy in our total surrender to a moment or activity is so nourishing that we not just remember to do so, but for all the right reasons.

Far too often we regret not having the opportunity to say a proper goodbye or thank you to someone who was really important to us.
We get so busy on our own hamster wheel that the urgency of the moment or thought passes and we move on.
Please let us enjoy today to it's fullest, let us give our all to it, and thank those who made it special in real time. Please share the love and appreciation you feel with those closest to you.

As we digest the heartbreaking news about SCE, it reminds me how important it is for me to stay grateful during moments of difficulty in my life. the proverbial "There but for the grace of God go I".
As I treasured with immense gratitude every Sunday's gift from SCE, I also have the joy of knowing so many people who hold a similar special place in my heart and that I share the loss of such a wonderful contributor to the quality of my life with so many like minded people.
Please let us have the opportunities today to say thank you to the SCE's in each of our lives today, along with the opportunity to truly celebrate how they impact our lives.

Good morning my adventurous DU family,
It gets too easy to run in a cycle, whether a weekly or monthly one where time passes incredibly fast because everything stays the same.
Let us live today as an adventure, nothing hardcore or difficult, more along the lines of trying something new, going a different direction, or maybe just spontaneously giving into a whim. Time always slows down when you're having fun. Have an adventurous day my DU family.

A really important reminder
I know in most cases I'm singing to the choir, but please please please go through your Credit Card statements every month to verify your purchases.
I'm paying my bills today and have found three charges that resulted from signing up for a promotional offer only to have it be misleading or flat out wrong.
It's especially frustrating that two of the three charges involve a newspaper, which I like to support if it's reasonable.
$70 dollars saved today.

Good morning my DU family,
I once used to argue that you can't love everyone. I argued my point for six solid months of debate until I was asked the following question:
"What is an human being entitled to from you? In 2000",
I answered acknowledgement, a helping hand if they need it, and a kind word or wish for them.
