15. Lol, too funny!

Tuesday

The timing of this post is perfect for me. I have always loved those things. I think my mom put them in all of my school lunches back in the 50s and got me hooked. Over the years I'd only get them on road trips when I stopped for gas and grabbed a package to scarf down while driving. But I haven't had any in recent years until just this past Friday. Had to make a 40 mile drive to meet a family member, was supposed to pick up a couple gallons of water and I was running late. So I stopped at a Dollar Tree on the way to the freeway to grab the water and something I could munch on the way. Saw the box of Hostess Cupcakes and said 'Oh yeah, flashback, I'll have those'. When I got in the car and opened the box I couldn't believe the size of them now!!! You'd have to eat 3 of them to make one of the old ones! (I didn't, honest!)

Seriously the most blatant example of shrinkflation I think I've seen. So sad.
