These are "red" areas of Montana, as I recall.

I have read about excellent rallies in Missoula (10,000!!! - generally a very "blue" area) and Billings (much more RW than Missoula), where they lined up several feet deep along several city blocks (didn't see a head count yet- My sisters and their families attended that one.

I also read about a couple hundred people who lined up along the "HiLine" (US Rte 2) in Hill County - sparsely populated and also not known for voting "blue."

If the DNC is intelligent enough to implement Howard Dean's 50-state strategy, where Dean spent time building up the state Dem parties - which NO ONE has done since his tenure; such stupidity is appalling, IMO). This is why I was very disappointed when Martin O'Malley was not selected as the leader of the DNC. He is a true Dean believer, as I am.

If these rallies are reflected in states like MT, we Dems will miss a great opportunity if we do not follow up FAST!
