I got lucky with a few bumps along the way. Terrible first marriage which I escaped with no major damage to myself and never saw the guy again. Married again and going to celebrate my 36th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. And have a nice son despite him being on the autism spectrum. Having him set me on another road to getting my credential and also working with seniors. Funny how life takes you in unexpected directions.
