Dick Cheney was as evil as Trump, as much an enemy of the Constitution and the rule of law, as much a threat to democracy, just as corrupt as Trump and just as much of a criminal – he was simply more skilled at concealing it than Trump.

And Dick Cheney laid the groundwork for the Trump nightmare we’re experiencing now.
