12. You can take your phone for emergencies but you might take the BATTERY OUT before going

Friday

Put the battery in a sturdy plastic bag. Do not put a loose battery in a pocket or pouch with keys or coins or metal. You might get an unwelcome hot surprise.

That way you have if you need it or want it.

Afterwards put the battery back in when you are a couple of miles away from the protest.
