To all of you attending the No Kings rally tomorrow

Thank you! Be safe and ignore the assholes. Remember that violence is the last resort of the incompetent (Isaac Asimov). Let’s stand up and show the MAGAt constituency what real Americans are about! We can live and work together without bigotry.

law enforcement has tools that can intercept cellphone signals, called “stingrays” or “IMSI catchers.” Stingrays collect the identifying details of phones in the area by “impersonating” cell towers.

Homeland security and ICE are using cell phone tracking software to find out who is attending the protests so DHS/ICE can target them and lable them domestic terrorists.

better yet bring a burner phone so you can record if you need to. Send your videos then erase both the video and the forward so they cannot be traced.

"Let's see about that burner phone, where did it sit the longest overnight. Oh, 123 Antifa Avenue, how interesting."

Never ship it to your home.

When you buy it at the store and check that it functions, take the battery out before going home, every time.

In these modern times, no one should be in large crowds without a cellphone

I seriously doubt any members here would be instigating violence. Violence perpetrated ON them needs quick access to help, or documentation

Put the battery in a sturdy plastic bag. Do not put a loose battery in a pocket or pouch with keys or coins or metal. You might get an unwelcome hot surprise.

That way you have if you need it or want it.

Afterwards put the battery back in when you are a couple of miles away from the protest.

Without a phone. My friend I go with is getting operation next week and in hip pain.

My area is pretty safe, last protest all the local cops were nice and Trumps goons are up north in Portland.

A "burner phone"-- like they talk about on the crime shows--
that is basically one that is not registered in your name,
which you paid for with cash, and paid for the time in cash,
is a good option.... and keep it turned off when not in use,
and better yet disconnect the battery when not in use....

Been watching too much 'The Closer' and 'Major Crimes".... lol

We are experienced activists and we are also informed, current, and aware of the instigators of violence at this particular protest.

Tomorrow will be my 34th protest from 2016-2020, and 2024-2025.

There have never been agitators at any of them. There was no violence at any of them. People are only interested now due to the media finally reporting a planned protest BEFORE it takes place.

The only "violence" I witnessed was at my first protest to impeach tRump and 2 dudes with air horns and whistles tried to drown out the speakers' voices. One was a city council member and she called for the sheriffs to take them away. I went over to where the sheriffs (who are pro-MAGA) had the 2 dudes and I heard the words Proud Boys for the first time in my life. They apparently drove down to San Diego from LA to disrupt the rally.

I have NEVER witnessed anything even close to violence. This is the MAGA asses' attempt at stirring up trouble and instigating violence from the GOP. This means tRump may be starting his final plan....to destroy the US.

It doesn't matter whether or not there are MAGA counterprotesters or provocateurs. Some of us are quick with the mockery, parody, and satire that scares them away.
I won't be using my cell phone because I don't have a screen protector. I ordered a body cam, but it won't be coming to my house until Monday.

Another helpful hint: If you wear glasses, bring your spare pair and change into them before going out to demonstrate. The last thing you need is for your good pair of glasses to be broken.
