They need to get past a point of no return before they can relax.
"They" are those that created project 2025, those that are moving the chess pieces, those that have money and power to lose if the Felon falls before they're ready. Thiel, Musk, Koch, Miller, Vance and maybe Putin.
My theory is the timetable is getting moved up because they didn't forsee the Epstein issue sticking. They are trying to distract and take advantage of C.K.'s untimely demise. At the same time they are tying up the Felon's schedule. They are taking advantage of the chaos that has been created. They are also trying to use C.K.'s death to rile up the base so Republicans forget about the Epstein files.

Those are just the broadstrokes.
