but a free press is just as important as a fair judicial system in maintaining our democracy. So yes, we can boycott the corporate media and support independent media. I'm all for that. But if the majority of voters get their info from the corporate media and we just stay in our separate media spaces without engaging in their propaganda efforts we will soon see ALL major channels and newspapers resemble FAUX news (or worse). I believe that the small amount of pushback mainstream corporate outlets receive from the left is all that keeps them from that. And in order to push back, we have to know what they're saying.
