He’s got such a nasty horrible past they want to establish him as righteous so as people learn his past they dismiss it as either just being negative or that he reformed.

I didn’t pay much attention to him but I’d say I’ve noticed that he’d taken a more faith based or spiritual turn since Trump’s back in office. I think he was planning on running for office. He brings his followers with him and he was adding the evangelicals.
