There was very little security at the event yesterday where Kirk was killed. Open admission. Walk in from any direction. No metal detectors, no screening of people coming to the event.

I'm not going to comment on his rationale for the Second Amendment, other than to say, in all fairness for his claim to only want to debate, that historians--which Kirk was not--have written extensively about how the Second Amendment came to be and for what purpose it was adopted. There's more to it than the quote from Kirk suggests.
