Don't get me wrong ....... I'd rather live in an area with normal human beings for neighbors. I wouldn't even judge men who opt to wear short hair, even though I neither understand or approve of short hair on men. I've learned to deal with it when my daughters have dated short-haired men. It can be hard living in rural, upstate New York's sticks, where is only one household of Democrats within miles of me in every direction. I nod and say hi to them, as they are old hippies. It's not his fault that he is bald. God works in strange ways. Since he doesn't wear a toupee, I am tempted to tell him he is as good as real men.

Now, on a serious note: Chief Paul Waterman taught that in social-political life, it is an error to think the people who were on the other side of issues in the past cannot be on your side now or in the future. Water changes in the stream of time. Adapt to the currents on the way to your goals.
