BREAKING: New 'Planes in the Air' Case with Planes Carrying Migrant Children Halted by Judge Today [View all]

To any of you who doubted that our courts and judges are working overtime to protect the people - *all* of the people - may I present Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, who just an hour or so ago, on a Sunday in the middle of a holiday, *stopped* the Trump administration’s planes from taking off *this afternoon* with untold numbers of migrant children on their way to be deported to Guatemala.

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS!

WITHOUT DEPORTATION ORDERS!

And guess what! The lawyer for the administration not only acknowledged it, but said that he believed that one of the planes was already in the air but, and this is important, unlike the last “planes in the air” case, at the beginning of all this, *this* time the administration’s lawyer immediately communicated the judges order (we’ll get to that in a moment) to the planes, and the plane that was in the air *turned around and came back*!!

Not only that, the administration lawyer, Drew Ensign, confirmed that all of the kids on the planes would be taken off the planes and returned to HHS’ care (HHS is responsible for caring for minors who enter the country without permission and without their parents)
