But now it has been announced that most of the European leadership and diplomatic corps will be accompanying Zelensky to DC.

Starmer, Meloni, Macron, the head of the EU and many others will be there.

Best case scenario:

They shower Trump with praise, tell him he did his best, and convince him that the only path forward to a true and lasting peace (and the Nobel Prize) is to supply Ukraine with any and all arms needed to defend itself and defeat Russia.

Reminder:

Trump’s positions, policies and actions are frequently determined by the last person/persons he was in the room with, and there are a significant number of Republicans (Graham being the most vocal) who support continuing to supply Ukraine with arms.

It’s so crazy, it just might work!
