7. When I copied above how to record a call, I should have included the sentence before that which says it is on IOS 18.1

To record a phone call on an iPhone with iOS 18.1 or later, simply tap the call recording icon (which looks like a sound bar) in the top left corner of the call screen during the call. Both parties will hear an announcement that the call is being recorded. The recording and transcript will be saved in the Notes app.
