(62 posts)The 'hatred of weakness' is actually an admission of their own weakness and hatred of those they feel are superior to them and looking down on them.
C. S. Lewis long ago recognized the general MAGAT type.
In his Screwtape Proposes a Toast, Screwtape (the devil), speaking to the annual dinner of the Tempters Training College, describes to the tempters the type of human who resents every kind of superiority in others; denigrates it; wishes its annihilation, so the tempters can take advantage of that resentment so as to secure the damnation of these little souls. As Screwtape explains, this type of human wishes for a dictator to pull everyone down to their own level. MAGATs are the current form of the little souls Screwtape is talking about.
