Our original sin is genocide, theft of the land from the rightful inhabitants, and slavery.

So, I quibble with that phrasing.

But not the main point.

Everything flows from failing to prosecute Trump for insurrection and rebellion.

Posted about this earlier. That is when our justice system finally fully failed.
