It doesn’t really hurt anything since he was going to be confirmed no matter what and now the slate is clean. It’s just politics.

To now dismiss the twenty-five hour holding of the floor because of this vote is, to me, ridiculous.

We’re never going to win again. Everyone on the left has purity standards that no one can ever live up to.
