64. While I tend to agree that Biden should have made his decision not to run before the 2022 midterms,

which was something on the table when he ran, and was elected, that was a discussion that should have taken place then.

Had that been something we knew from the start, we could have avoided the weeks of panic and political exposure that occurred following the first debate, which I see as being responsible for the election loss in 2024.

The Presidency is a job that takes a clear physical and mental toll on its occupants. There's visible stress on younger men, so it's hard to imagine the stress on a 78 year old. Trump wears a lot of makeup, when you see what he looks like without it, back in 2016 compared to 2024, it's quite a change. And dementia is difficult to discern in him, since he's an emotional and psychological cripple, and hasn't ever been particularly coherent or mentally healthy.

I don't know what's going on with Democrats right now, hard to put a finger on it.
