Why? Because he's going to end up in court... I'm not going to provide him with evidence to support his desire to have the court rule in his favor...
I know he doesn't read much but maybe someone told him about the CA court decision... that no, you cannot create a national police force out of the National Guard. You cannot do criminal investigations or law enforcement with our military.... one other thing:
The governor of Louisiana doesn't need the president of the United States to call out his National Guard to deal with crime...He's looking for circumstances in which the governor is willing to call out the National Guard so that he can look like he's getting something done. The governor of Louisiana can do that on his own; he doesn't need the president to ask him to do it."
