I've thought it about the comparison quite a bit, and though the felon has put this nation in much more danger, the big difference was that Nixon's own party turned against him which led to his resignation. With the felon-in-chief it seems like the more laws and norms he violates, the more his sycophants defend him - but it looks like that may be changing the closer the Midterms get. *fingers crossed*
