The consensus on the Court seems to be that the Birthright Citizenship issue is too hot to deal with at this (or, presumably, any other) time. I don't understand why they are shrinking from the issue. It's a simple issue. It's an issue that has been dealt with by the lower courts successfully. Birthright Citizenship is enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and the remedy to the right wing issue with birthright citizenship would be to amend the Constitution.

Why won't SCOTUS just say that and be done with it?
