...and having it online would be unthinkable, because the whole point of it was to indulge in the herb "medically," without needing a doctor's prescription (because they had on-site MDs who would basically issue anyone authorization).

Nowadays, no big deal: just go there on your tablet while consuming the stash you purchased quite legally at the local pot shop (masks required for entrance, though).
