I don't think Williams would have fared any better.
Those 3 players are a poor mix, because all three require the ball so much.
It seems they were following the "Big 3" model even though the last several championships have been won with one great player, excellent complimentary players, & depth.
They got their vision stuck in 2010 or something.
BTW: Budenholser didn't get fired for being a bad coach. He was the scapegoat for the playoff failure and Giannis wanted Doc Rivers, before they fired Bud. That latter part got a lot of attention on Chicago sportsradio given the proximity. As soon as the Rivers stuff came up, hosts & callers alike knew Budenholzer was toast.
