You could hit with a major health problem/disability in your younger years. If you have paid into Medicare for 3 years, you qualify for it is you are unfortunate enough to develop such a condition. Hence, you could be in your 20's and be on Medicare should you find yourself is such a situation.

Think twice before you bash other groups of people as you might be finding yourself talking about yourself in the future.
