1. Where you are coming from or have been could be a factor as well

I've been pulled over for a secondary inspection once (in 2007) and I know why. I was very unhappy about it and it took about an hour. Thankfully the country I live in and the US do not share information (I do know that for sure just based on what the consequence would be if they did). Since then I have not had it happen. I wrote and asked for information and they refused to release it to me.

The country I am in does also not allow people to be employed in certain positions (like the one I am in) if they have any sort of mental health issues. I guess that has nothing to do with boarder crossings, but it shows how different countries treat mental health issues.

I know this post is about six months old, but I thought I'd add my two cents.
