Bookmarks are paginated, and I can't get my autopager extension to unroll them.

So, first, I create a new directory/folder for the day (desktop only)

In Firefox, I save each page of bookmarks as 01.html, 02.html and so on. (see note)
AS WEB PAGE COMPLETE

Other formats do not create links to the pages of concern.

With safari, I save each page as WEBARCHIVE, 1.webarchive, 2. webarchive and so on.

With BOTH (and perhaps others), you can "print to pdf" and get usable links, so 1.pdf, 2.pdf and so on.

I just tested these. No great fun to do.

Should I try to automate this in some way? Interesting.

Note. html files can be concatenated, so I did so just now, and created one big bookmark file.
But they need to be numbered "numerically" so that utilities behave properly,

More later?
