2. In a recent thread I suggested that "ignore" should work both ways

in the same way it does on many other websites and apps. For some reason that is not the case here on DU. I think that's the way it ought to work - I don't see you, and you don't see me. Admin did not reply to the suggestion, but I hope that it might be implemented at some point in the future.
