but that how popular the efforts to protect Assange from rape prosecution are. That thread has close to 100 recs. It boils down to we like Assange, therefore nothing else matters. Imagine that view, that if a person is admired, he gets a free pass for life and should not be held to the same laws and procedures that apply to everyone else.
