"Normal" is funny word. Yes, certain things are usual, aka the norm. That doesn't mean they are normal in the sense of reflecting nothing to worry about. That is how we come to hear the word when we hear a doctor say, "That's normal" in reply to something in ourselves or our kids or spouse that has been concerning us.

It's not so different from radioactive material or poison or carcinogenic ingredients in your food every day. Common, maybe but not necessarily harmless in its cumulative effect.
