I wouldn't be surprised if you were wondering the very same thing!

I know (because I've read it here!) that some people from that Cave website have boasted about being "deep cover" trolls and I think one said they were even a mod back in the day.

Here's what I just cannot wrap my head around--why the fuck BOTHER? Why be all sneaky and "Hee hee hee" rubbing those hands together with evil glee, to try to "get over" on a group of progressives and Democrats who are just here to converse, and who already have sufficient differences to make a conversation interesting? Why try to be the bratty kid at the daycare who smashes the tower of blocks? What do they GET out of it?

I can't imagine a life so bereft of simple joy that they get a charge out of fucking with people on the net. It just makes no doggone sense! In that regard, I guess you have to feel sorry for them--they're just the "kid who never fit in," and they're trying, in a lame and pointless, life-wasting way, to affirm their existence by extracting what they think is "revenge." It's really so sad that this is what gives them a thrill...

To me, an unexpected trip to London is a thrill. A piece of cheesecake covered with blueberries is a thrill. A dip in a cool lake on a hot day is a thrill! Fucking with someone on the internet, calling them names, "plotting" with associates to mess with people...? That's just pathetic.
