When the CIA decided we could fight Russia on the cheep there. That is where the CIA trained Bin Laden and his associates. All because they wanted to engage in democratic socialism with communist backing. And the current crisis is the fault of both W, T45, and all the warmongering defense consultants funneling money into there for arms and western contractors, rather than building their local economic capabilities. T45 signed a peace deal with the rebels without even including the Afghan government in the discussions.
