5. 15 minute drive to town through the bush then beside a river.

After driving 2 miles thru the bush, then down an older highway along the Ottawa River,

This is what I see as I enter the small town



I live about 7 miles to the left of the picture below -

this is an aerial view of my wee town.



My shopping trips are usually a half-day or more event, small town of 2,000 - I know at least half of them.

Much of my time is spent in short chats with friends and customers from my past businesses in town.

I enjoy the chats, but am more than happy to be back in my bush spot.

Only thing I really miss about living in cities,

(I lived in Toronto more than once),

(as well as quite a few others),

Is 2 for 1 Pizza deliveries!

oh well.
