So I work as a recruiter [View all]

For manufacturing these days. I like it. I meet interesting people all of the time. I found out today that one of my favorite people that I employed died back on Dec 17. His sister called me to let me know because we had called him for another job we thought he might like. He was only 51.
It's so weird to me but I am very, very saddened by this. I saw a lot of myself in this man. He had a horrible relationship that made him drop off the grid for awhile. But then he found his soulmate and we had multiple conversations about this. Same thing happened to me. And we bonded.

He could have had his paycheck delivered to his job but he chose to come to our office just to say hi. He even wrote a recommendation letter for our services.

Just ugh. I will miss him.
