i hope your uncle will have someone to turn to, lean on, & cry with in the upcoming weeks and months. he could be feeling pretty alone right about now. i hope he is close enough (in physical proximity as well as emotionally) for friends and family to reach out to him--frequently.

(just a thought.)

and my heart goes out to your mom. this is a pretty significant and difficult change in her life.
