I really didn't intend this thread for tiresome quibbles having little meaning but of course there are people everywhere who ignore points to quibble.

They show up in my posts quite often, in one recent case claiming a turbine is a device for producing energy rather than a device for consuming energy to convert heat into mechanical energy.

I generally am mildly annoyed by such quibbles but they are unavoidable distractions.
