I can even state a date on which It became obvious: November 10, 1975. UN Resolution 3379, which "Determines that Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination". Exactly fifty years ago. This is when antisemitism went global.

Whether it's old established antisemitic tropes or new ones kile accusations of racism, genocide, land grab and "we don't want no Zionists here", for fifty years the excuses kept changing, but not the hatred. For half a century, the world has been fed antisemitic propaganda from sources as diverse as the UN and the Klan, and the act of spreading the hatred itself has been globalized and normalized, accepted and condoned by ideologies as diverse as the Western far Left and the radical Islamism of the Middle East and openly neo-fascist right wing in the US. There is no question what unites them. Only the excuses to hate on the Jews vary, but in 50 years we have seen these distinctions disappearing too.

I am afraid the reckoning in the anti-Israel movement that the article is calling for ain't coming. We are alone, as we have always been.
