With my crazy luck, almost every “disaster” that I prepare for never happens.

Good luck or bad luck?

Rather than count myself a fool, I just figure that if I am prepared and confident, who cares?

If if happened, I was/am ready,
If if doesn’t, then great.

So I view this situation, and I recall hearing this on another post:

By exposing their plans, we take the teeth and surprise factor out of them.
They like surprise, but telegraph their plans, being egotistic loudmouths.
Some real damage was stopped at Jan 6 when a gang with heavy weapons was intercepted in time.

And if I’m wrong? We were and are ready, we have encouraged people with leverage to do the right thing. Confidence helps them overcome doubt. That is our role. Others will do the right thing when asked to turn over the country to Putin.
