It could be that the person that set up the podium was eating sunflower seeds. 
But then again, it is not uncommon for me to be very wrong. 
Omen or not, that was pretty cool how the little birdy hopped onto the podium like that. 
What I would love to see is a vulture land on Trump's head and attempt to pull his hair off as though it were roadkill.
