The cheapest currently is a BYD model that is about Euro 20K, close to $24k. Chery has one in China that is about $10 but not exported to Europe.
There is now a 17.5% tariff on BYD so that will drive teh price further up by another 3,500 Euro about $5k.
This is an ammount calculated based on subsidies from theChinese government. BYD is building a factory in Hungary to cut tariff costs. Chery is looking to build a factory in Spain for the same reasons.
