Need some info on a truck.

Am planning to purchase a new(er) truck. I currently drive a 02 Ford Ranger, 4L Mazda engine, auto, air, all power.
Since Ford no longer makes the Ranger for domestic sale I have been looking for another truck.

Ford F-150, crew cab, XLT package, 3.5L Ecoboost engine.
Maker claims 18 city, 23 hyway. Most all of the owners that I have talked to say they get that, and more.
Not to sure about the Techie of the Ecoboost system, but it has been around for several years.

I need to go to a larger vehicle as my company is expanding and I need the room for the crew.(Also my 5'9" 14yr old says the jump seat is too darn small)

Any comments and/or information?
