6. BEAUTIFUL car, and so unexpected for that era.

I once owned a little Toyota of similar vintage, which was amazingly powerful for a 2L engine. Even without powershifting, it would leave little chirps of rubber on the road going from 3rd to 4th gear. When it was over 15 years old and all but a wreck, I "raced" a new Suzukl (model unknown) off a light and was a car length ahead of him by the time I got to the other side of a wide intersection.

The point being...I have long been convinced of the engineering that Toyota could manage.
