who has taken her out of games when she's shooting more. The same coach who says virtually nothing about her other players flubbing the passes that hit them in the hands. The same coach who says nothing about the rest of the team showing the chronic stat of missed layups. The same coach who says nothing as her other players routinely ignore giving the ball to Clark when she is wide open.
Caitlin Clark could put up 20-30 shots per game but she has a coach who told her not to. She has a coach who watches the rest of her team play defense by being slow on their feet and reaching and grabbing and piling up fouls. This same coach who watches most of a season go by before talking to her forwards and center about boxing out on rebounds. Which is one of the most fundamental things in basketball.
Thanks Coach Sides. I'm sure there is a recreational league team that could use your "skills" to guide them to a .500 record. Maybe your strategy of not having your best shooter take the last shot with games on the line can "revolutionize" city league play.
I wish it were just my crazy ranting alone but the calls for Coach Sides to step aside by people in and out of basketball have been growing for some time. But in Coach Sides world less is more until more would be less unless of course less of more and more of less are more or less called for. Such crafty genius.
