1. The Beatles: "She's Leaving Home."

It was1987. Daughter had graduated from high school and was getting ready to start school at Rutgers. I came home around 1 a.m. and found her in the living room, listening to that song, continuously looping. I did not interrupt her.

It was her "goodbye" to the life she had led.
