11. The Marigold Cottages Murder Collective by Jo Nichols

Six (six and a half) small cottages in Santa Barbara owned by Mrs. B - nicknamed Marigolds by her late husband.

She collects the tenants who interest her.

When a body is found outside the property and a recent tenant with a past is arrested the others are united to prove his innocence and to find the real killer. With a hint of The Thursday Murder club, each member has their own story. Even including a narrator who fills in the blank.
