Nowadays the Ministry of Truth, er "Department of Education" wants to expunge it from the history texts. I guess it is too hard for our self-enthroned emperor to entertain one whole thought in what's left in his addled pate, never mind that we can both be a great nation and one with horrifying blems on the record.

So we keep making it easier on this doddling, drooling, incontinent toddler than we would dare do if we were raising children.
