as family. If they were sick or injured we took them to the vet, the same as when our children got sick. The goldfish made it to12 years (I think). We are in our 70's now, and our one 16 year old cat, who has been to vet twice for head cold type symptoms in the last 6 months. Her sister died a year 1/2 ago. We don't plan on rescuing any more pets. I am glad you are doing the good work and helping the fur-babies.
