1. I haven't seen that... The thundershirts do work for a lot of dogs...

One of my own prior doggy girls was so terrified, she'd go into the bathtub behind the curtain in the pitch dark. The first time I looked everywhere for her only to find her there with her reflective eyes shining back at me, it scared the living hell out of me. But, that was her spot. I'd try to hold her and she'd tremble so much she'd have both of us near heat stroke, so I just let her go there.

But, that was before thundershirts and the like...
