another possible source of infection for cats.

Antibodies have shown up in hunting dogs who retrieved birds, so they apparently can get it if exposed. Wild foxes have become sick and died from it. I have not seen anything about serious illness in dogs or about them spreading this flu to each other, but probably best to be careful.
