Those cats next door to purr and they just won't. I have a role to play and it doesn't involve purring. I'm supposed to make sure they're fed and the box is clean and wave the stick around for them to chase. apparently, that's it.

My friend is still in hospital, was supposed to have a defib/monitor installed this morning. Might be home by the weekend. Poor thing, she had to be transferred to a different hospital 220 miles away for the procedure and then she's had to wait for a bed there for four days. In most cases that I have seen, healthcare in Montana is a cruel joke.

I'm waiting to hear how things went but she might be home sooner than I think. Her son will stay with her for the time being.

At least you got Madoc to purr, eventually.
